Halloween treats

So I didn't get to post this before Halloween but I thought the general idea of my Halloween treats would cross over to Thanksgiving table treats or cute little Christmas treats.

I made over 40 of these and once I figured out how to twist the paper at the ends - it took me to time. I have to say that I LOVE this Bigshot die. The candy wrapper die is so versatile! I stuffed these with candy and the receivers loved them! : )

I also used the Fang-tastic stamp set from the Holiday mini - cute but not scary!

It's made with a lovely stamp set called "Inspired by Nature". I love the way the gray, the sage and the mellow moss all work together.

A little behind...

Here is a card I made as a Thank you for for my boys teachers last May! I also think this stamp set will be a great one next week when the boys go back to school! It's called First Day and will be available until August 1st.

New idea book class date!!!

You are invited to my new product class where we will make 8 cards using the fabulous new stuff from the 2010-2011 Idea Book!

Father's Day Card

I wanted to try a technique called Bargello for my Father's Day Card this year. It is a technique used in needlepoint which you can also do with paper! It's basically a series of patterns laid out and stitched together. In card making world, we use striped designer paper and lay it out creating a whole new interesting pattern.

I have very exciting news to share with you about the new catalog that will be coming out July 1st regarding colors!

The new color collection combines current colors with with previous In Colors and introduces five brand new colors. This palette will give new and vibrant choices! Check the links to the right to see the colors in large.

The new In Colors won't be released until July 1st and Stampin' Up! will continue to release In Colors but instead of doing it every year, they will only release new colors every two years.

So don't wait until the end of the catalog year...email me now to order the paper, markers, reinkers etc that are retiring. You won't be able to get hold of them again after June.

I love these changes!! I was so sad to see some of the In Colors go away and now they are back. I just feel like the new palette is so refreshing and trendy!

2 posts??? One week??? Insane!!! : )

Here is a card I made for my Dad and my brother yesterday. I wanted to make masculine cards but I did not want to use my fall back color, Chocolate Chip. I know I am totally over using the In Color, Bermuda Bay but what can I say, I love it!!!

Kids birthday cards

I had to make a couple of birthday cards recently and I wanted to make a few of them at once. To do this I needed the cards to be good for both boys and girls. So after scouring the Internet I found a card by Mary Jo Albright and I cased it. Here is my version. I love it! And I think it works for either a little girl or boy.

My talented friends..

I have a lovely friend, Linda Cathey who I have met through Stampin' up! She is a busy, and amazing lady! So she completely blows my mind when she creates the cutest and most darling projects in the 5 minutes a day she calls her "spare time''!!! LOL!

Here are a valentines card and a Easter Card she made using the new Heart Treat Cups. (Like the sweet treat cups but heart shaped!)

By turning the heart cups over, she made a variety of different animals! How cute?

The sweet treat and heart treat cups will be available thru July and then will be a new addition to the Idea Book.

We're making this card....

Isn't it pretty?!
We are making this at my All Year Cheer card class on Jan 30th. It uses two of the in colors - Soft Suede and Melon Mambo and a new stamp set from the Spring Mini - Vintage Vogue.

I cased the card off another in the Spring Mini - if it isn't broke, don't fix it right? LOL!

Don't forget that I need to know if you are attending by tomorrow night so that I can have enough supplies for everyone.

New Spring Mini All Year Cheer Class!!!

I know it's been forever since I posted!!! I promise I have used my school free time to make some cute stuff... I just can't seem to get it from my camera to the computer!! Maybe that should be my New Years resolution?
